In October 2024, the 40th edition hosted around 10,500 delegates including some 3,240 buyers from over 110 countries across approximately 347 exhibitors
Content professionals converged for screenings, coproduction deals, innovation labs, and networking events. The newly expanded MIP Innovation Lab showcased FAST, AVOD, AI, Connected TV and streaming summits. This intense mix of content market activity made Cannes the global meeting point of the audiovisual world.
MIPCOM brings together decision-makers from major networks, studios, streaming platforms, and production companies.
China served as Country of Honour in 2023, sending its largest delegation since 2019 over 300 representatives from 40 companies.
The Middle East delegation grew by 50% year-on-year, and Europe and North America remained strong buyer sources.
